Description - Throughout this winter, starting in December, we will be providing weekly indoor sessions at Anna H Rockwell in Bethel.

Working on a variety of techniques, each age group will work from a specific curriculum to ensure maximum touches and ongoing development. Our HS players will participate in fast paced Futsal games to help them continue with their year round development while also working on game specific fitness in the 5v5 games. Our curriculum has been created by CT Soccer Network's DOC who has over 25 years of professional coaching experience in many different countries and can include massive clubs such as Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Glasgow Rangers on his resume. The curriculum is a 'come together' from experiences he has had coaching in Scotland, Spain, England, Ireland, China, Singapore and the USA.

All players will use futsal balls throughout the winter - which eliminates the bounce on the harder surface and is proven to provide more contact time for the players with the ball. All sessions will finish with smaller sided, futsal type scrimmage games.

These programs are designed to bridge the gap between the fall and spring seasons. Adding in some additional time with the ball over the winter months will help significantly with the progression back into spring soccer. These dates have been specifically selected to allow players recovery and rest after the fall season while allowing families time to enjoy the holiday break and also incorporating a short break just before the spring season to allow players the opportunity to rest and re-energize for a strong spring season.
